The area of our research is interdisciplinary in nature comprising the fields of synthetic Inorganic, Organometallic, Polymer and Materials Chemistry. The main interest of our research is on synthesis and characterization of multifunctional polymers and materials with special focus on conjugated metallopolymers and their emerging applications in alternative energy source, which is of intense scientific and technological interest. Developing functional side-chain metallopolymers is also of our current research interest.
Currently, we are interested on the following topics:
● Synthesis, Characterization and Application of Functional Metallopolymers
● Synthesis and Characterization of Main-Chain π-Conjugated Metallopolymers for its Emerging Application in Optoelectronic Devices
● Developing Multifunctional Side-chain Metallopolymers
● Synthesis and Application of Conductive π-Conjugated p-type and n-type Copolymers
● Self-assembly of π-Conjugated and Metal-Containing Block Copolymers Generating Functional Nanostructures
● Developing NLO active Organometallic Materials
