CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

A 3D image of 2000 capacity Boys’ Hostel
to come up in the future

Currently a large number of civil construction work is going on throughout the institute. A 2000 capacity hostel is coming up behind Patel Hall of Residence. The construction of another 2000 capacity Hall of Residence near Zakir Hossain Hall of Residence will start soon. In Patel, Nehru and Azad Hall of Residence, an additional floor in each hall is being constructed. Additional blocks (capacity 288 each) are being constructed in RK and RP Halls of Residence. New blocks with a total capacity of 228 students are also being constructed in MT/SN/IG Halls of Residence.

In the southern part of the campurs seven picturesque blocks having 63 A-type apartments are almost ready for our faculty. Eighteen B-type apartments are coming up near the Tech Market. Another 63 B-type apartments are coming up near DAV School. Eighty 1BR and 64 2BR apartments are also being constructed.

To take care of our increasing student strength 88 class rooms ranging the capacity of 60, 120 and 240 students are being constructed near Agricultural and Food Engineering Department. The construction of Students' Activity Center will start from August, 2010.
