Founded in 1954, the second oldest hall of the campus, Nehru proclaims "Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye" as its motto. A Nehruite can boast of a heritage that stands tall in the annals of the Institute history. But more than the statistics, it is the spirit and the passion that Nehru infuses into everything it does, that remains, both its pride and its life.

Being a Nehruite is being "alive" , in every sense of the word. Never ones to be bogged down, its as if perseverance were written into its genetic code and has shown itself in the remarkable and incredible comebacks that this hall has managed to stage so many times, be it in the inter hall championships or …

The meaning of "being Nehruites" transcends the championships and academics feats that we achieve. It is the character that you develop in the three-four years you spend at this institution that makes you what you are. Yes, Nehru is an institution.
