Candidates aged 35 years or less having a Ph.D. Degree and willing to carry out advanced research in the fields of Engineering & Technology, Science, Architecture & Regional Planning, Humanities & Social Sciences and Law (Intellectual Property Rights, Corporate Law, Environment Law and Management) should apply to the Assistant Registrar (PGS&R), IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur-721 302 (W.B.) on plain paper with complete bio-data, list of publications, patents filed/granted, plan of research work, and recommendations of at least two referees, etc., enclosing fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates) by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of "IIT Kharagpur" on any nationalized bank payable at Kharagpur latest by April 25, 2011. Women candidates are exempted from the payment of application fees.
