I am interested in the following research areas : (1)  Experimental investigation of Combustion Instability in Rocket Engines, Gas Turbine Engines, Ramjet and Scramjet Engines. Engine specific thermoacoustic coupling characterization and combustion control. (2) Experimental investigation of Supersonic Mixing enhancement techniques in scramjet engines : Cavity Assisted, Pylon Assisted, Wave Assisted etc. (3) Cardiovascular Fluid Mechanics : Model based exploratory studies of problems such as ventricular septal defect with concomitant cardiovascular lesions. Experimental studies of the effect of system level parameters and pathophysiologies on cardiac output etc and the development of low cost medical equipments (4) Experiments on Novel Engine concepts for atmospheric and underwater applications.
