I am always looking for young, talented, and motivated scientists and engineers, for suitable postdoctoral positions. Prospective, interested candidates should feel free to directly contact me, preferably, via an e-mail message. | I am building my own research group, and am actively looking for new graduate students, namely, M.S., M.Tech., and Ph.D. students. |

  • Quantum Mechanics & Quantum Information
  • Foundations of Quantum Mechanics
  • Quantum Information Technologies
  • Applied Quantum Computing
As a quantum physicist and as a photonics engineer, I am interested in both the theoretical, as well as the experimental aspects of problems in quantum information science and engineering, with optical photons. My ongoing research addresses the key foundational challenges--for example, achieving deterministic photonic entanglement--that have to be overcome, so as to make these next-generation devices and technologies possible. A key component of my current, ongoing research program--that attempts to accomplish the above-mentioned goals--can be summarized as: ``From Quantum Differential Geometry Towards Quantum Optical Computation.'' In particular, I am interested in understanding and utilizing ideas and concepts in the foundations of quantum mechanics, so as to design and construct novel and useful quantum devices and quantum technologies. Please see my recently-published papers, so as to gauge the set of topics on which I am currently working, and in which I am presently interested. Please feel free to contact me, via e-mail, if you have any questions about my research interests and goals.
