Research Areas

  • General Relativity and Modified Gravity
  • Theoretical High Energy Physics
  • Physics education
  • Quantum Mechanics
My current research interests include various modified theories of gravity which address some of the unsolved problems that arise in General Relativity.  I also work in selected areas related to gravitational wave physics.
I have interest in some specific topics in String Theory and High Energy Physics which are linked to gravitational physics.  Earlier, I  have worked on string-inspired gravity, braneworld models, aspects related to the
Raychaudhuri equations, geometric flows and selected topics in quantum mechanics. Over the years, I have also attempted  contributing to physics pedagogy through articles on classical and quantum physics, optics, geometry
and gravity.
