  • Linear water waves
  • Integral equations
I am interested in developing mathematical techniques required to study linear water wave problems. We generally investigate interaction of water waves with barriers such as rigid/porous/elastic as well as with surface discontinuities in the form of floating elastic plate, inertial surface etc. While studying scattering problems, the governing boundary value problems are mainly reduced to integral equations with singular kernels. These integral equations are solved numerically employing different approaches. We also investigate wave generation problems. This requires application of techniques of integral transform.
