Understanding the interaction between rock and sorbing gas such as methane and CO2 is very important for recovery of coal bed methane, shale gas  and estimation of CO2 sequestration potential in these reservoirs. The focus of my research is study of reservoir properties in coal/shale reseroirs and chnage in these properties because of fluid-rock intercation.
