Research Areas

My research focuses on supersonic and hypersonic aerodynamics. I actively work in the fields of Shock-Wave/Boundary-Layer Interactions & Control and Supersonic Jet Control and Aeroacoustics, where flow control is the primary focus.

I have established a Supersonic Jet Research Laboratory (SJRL) at IIT Kharagpur to address real-world problems in high-speed aerodynamics. To achieve the above ideals, I believe in teamwork, where students play a crucial role and are always presented with a research problem, keeping their interests in mind to foster their innovative thinking and career growth.
