  • Global Geodynamics and Indian Plate
  • Gravity, Magnetic, and Gradiometry

My research activity is mainly focused on high-resolution joint modeling and inversion of potential field constrained with other data sets at various scales a few kilometers of depth scale to lithospheric mantle scale modeling. I mainly use in-house developed algorithms for inversion producing high-end geologically consistent results, and commercial Software like Oasis-Montaz, IGMAS+, LitMod2D, and Geomodeller for the geodynamic problems. My main focus has been on developing practical algorithms for inverting gravity, magnetic and full gravity gradient tensor data sets to reconstruct the three-dimensional distribution of physical properties using Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) approaches. I have been actively working on individual inversion methods as well as joint and cooperative strategies for inverting multiple sets of geophysical and geological data. I have worked extensively on enhanced visualization of three-dimensional arrangements of complex geometries using an interdisciplinary geophysical approach and to understand the mechanism of deeper subsurface structures associated with lithosphere and the cause of mantle deformation using a density model.
