Healthy and affordable food choices on campus
Food for students is provided as part of the residential arrangements on campus. Each Hall of Residence has its own kitchen cum dining hall where the students are provided freshly prepared, healthy food. The Institute was recently given FSSAI certification as an 'Eat Right Campus'.
Further, there are more than 25 eateries (big and small) on campus that provide a variety of food options for take-out or eat-in. There are several online food delivery services that connect these food suppliers to consumers and their apps which are freely available on the Internet can be used to order and deliver food directly to the consumer.
Access to physical health-care services including information and education services
IIT Kharagpur has a 100-bed hospital named BC Roy Technology Hospital (BCRTH) that provides primary and secondary health care services to all campus residents/ employees and their families.
