IITKGP
I am looking for motivated PhD students and postdocs to join my lab, focusing on EPR spectroscopy and structural biology. Candidates with a basic understanding of protein handling, expression, and purification are preferred. If interested, please feel free to reach out with your CV and Statement of Purpose (SOP). |

Biomolecular EPR Spectroscopy Lab:
My research focuses on the field of electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy, with an emphasis on elucidating biomolecular structures, dynamics, and reactivity. Using advanced EPR spectroscopic techniques, including continuous wave (CW) EPR, double electron-electron resonance (DEER), and hyperfine spectroscopic techniques such as electron nuclear double resonance (ENDOR) and electron-electron double resonance (ELDOR)-detected NMR (EDNMR), my group aims to address fundamental questions to unraveling the mysteries of disordered proteins associated with human diseases. Additionally, we investigate the structure-function relationships of metalloproteins and their reactive intermediates, contributing to a deeper understanding of biological processes at the molecular level.

If you have a background either in protein biochemistry or spectroscopy, and are interested in working with EPR spectroscopy (project, PhD and postdoc), please drop me an email manasseal@edu.iitkgp.ac.in
