My research is focused on advancing the field of food engineering through the application of innovative technologies and methodologies to ensure food quality, safety, and efficiency in production processes. My research interests encompass several key areas:
1.Application of Nondestructive Techniques for Food Quality and Safety Analysis: I am dedicated to developing and refining nondestructive methods to assess food quality and safety. By utilizing advanced imaging, spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging, electronic nose, electronic tongue and other sensor technologies, my work aims to provide accurate, real-time analysis of food products without compromising their integrity.
2.Development of Portable Sensors for Detection of Food Adulterants and Contaminants: My research includes the design and development of portable, cost-effective sensors capable of detecting adulterants and contaminants in food.
3.AI-integrated Food Personalization:My research focuses on leveraging AI to revolutionize food personalization, enabling tailored dietary recommendations based on individual mood, health needs, taste preference and sustainability goals.
4.Process Automation in Food Industries: I am committed to improving efficiency and consistency in food processing through automation. By integrating advanced control systems and robotics, my research aims to streamline production processes, reduce human error, and enhance overall productivity in food industries.
5.Design of Silos for Storage of Cereal Grains and Millets: The design and optimization of silos for the safe and efficient storage of cereal grains and millets are critical areas of my research. I focus on creating storage solutions that minimize post-harvest losses, preserve grain quality, and enhance food security.
