One Health Tech Laboratory, focuses on the development of biomedical devices, electrochemical & chemiresistive sensors, colorimetry, fluorimetry, applied electrochemistry and rapid prototyping methods like xurography, laser, to deliver low-cost and robust sensing devices for applications in medical diagnostics, healthcare monitoring and environmental monitoring. Particularly, in medical diagnostics, we are interested in the development of point-of-care devices for geriatric, and pediatric individuals.
Our long-term objective is to establish solid-state sensor technologies for one-time or continuous monitoring of biomolecules in biofluids like serum, sweat, and plasma, for better patient care and improved care to individuals located in remote locations.
