In my research group research is carried on in the area of catalysis and reaction engineering, synthesis of novel nanocatalysts, simple photocatalysts, heterojunction photocatalysts and adsorbents. A major field of work is the application of the novel catalysts in photocatalytic wastewater treatment, petroleum fuel processing and removal of pollutants, such as sulfur compounds from them, development of nano-metal/metal oxide catalysts and utilisation of the catalysts in process developments and reactions.
We have a very friendly and helpful atmosphere in the laboratory with good knowledge transfer among each other.
