Currently we are interested to temporally resolve fast occurring phenomena in science such as carrier dynamics in semiconductor nanostructure, reaction dynamics in chemistry, phase-transition in solid state media and spin dynamics of magnetic materials. To achieve the objectives, different measurement set-ups like Transient Absorption Spectroscopy (Pump-probe), Terrahertz Spectroscopy, Magneto-optical Kerr Effect and Nonlinear Optical Z-scan are developed in a newly built laboratory named Ultrafast Science Laboratory.
