Research Areas

In our group we work on various technolgies to convery waste to value, including utilization of mining, industrial and agricultural waste to produce value added products ( including H2 gas). The processes are optimized using a combination of thermodynaic calculations and experimental validation. We also use CALPHAD approach to design new alloys for energy applications such as MCM and thermoelectric. We apply thermodynamic calculations for process optimimization of various steel making unit processes. More details on the various projects can be found in the Projects section of the website.
